This is a very nice space in a quiet neighborhood in Sumiyoshi-ku, south Osaka City. Very conveniently located, it is only a 3 minute walk to JR Abiko-cho station on the Hanwa line. About a 10 minute bike ride to Osaka City University, Abiko station on the Midosuji Subway and Abiko-mae station on the Nankai Koya line.
The place is a comfortably laid-out connected living space with a 6-mat tatami room, 6-mat flooring bedroom and an approximately 12-mat living/dining space.
Both 6-mat rooms have a lot of built-in closest space, so you don't need to clutter the living areas with cabinets to hold your stuff. The bedroom has a good bed in it now, but it can be removed if you would prefer the space to be open. Both 6-mat rooms have clear sliding glass doors that open onto the garden and onto the deck. These two doors also have roll down shutters that can be easily closed for more privacy or security.
The kitchen has a built-in stove and grill with lots of storage space above and below the counter. The kitchen also has a convenient storage table. In addition, there are two other cabinets that can be used to store all your dishes, rice cooker, etc.
Greenery Friendly: This is a great place for someone who likes to grow plants. It has areas for lots of potted plants on the front and side of the house and also has a large garden with a nice old tree, bamboo and various other plants. There is also a good amount of ground space if you want to plant and grow your own vegetables.
The attached wooden deck is great for relaxing outdoors and looking at the garden in the various seasons.
The space has a very large genkan/entrance area. This area was designed to be used as a small shop and could be used as a studio or classroom for teaching private students without needing to let them come all the way into your living space.
The system bathroom has a large tub and shower unit which are easy to clean. Outside the bathroom door is a convenient changing room, which also has a washing machine and shower dresser unit. The toilet is equipped with various high-tech seat functions that I don't understand.
There is a covered area for bicycle parking in the front of the house. And, for an additional charge, a parking spot for a small car is also available.
The space is clean but some marks of use still remain.
